Fendi: Monster attack

Fendi is now busy promoting its new popular pop-themed commodity, the monster looking bags and other accessories with furs decoration. It is a brave movement from a luxury fur and fashion brand to grab the attention of the younger consumers. The monster is now attacking the window display, too, hanging around near the mannequin more like a monkey. Hopefully, the Fendi VM team will arrange the display in the more sophisticated way next time.

Fendi: Furs

Fendi window display for the new season celebrates this brand's prime commodity, fur. This might not become a good news for the PETA members or people who care so much about the use of fur in this fashion world. However, this beautiful and luxe material is always tempting and irresistible, at least for me. By the way, on this display, fur, faux for sure, is used to cover the infamous double F logo of the brand, now serving as the table display. The only real fur might be found in the Fendi 2jours handbag that are covered with red shearling furs.

Fendi: Horse

 Takashimaya Ngee Ann City

 Plaza Indonesia

Horse is now becoming the main decoration inside every Fendi boutiques around the world. They are made of metal with metallic silver tone shining under the spot light. In Singapore, Fendi Takashimaya at Ngee Ann City has the big horse in its windows, unfortunately I took only one window that has the back part of the horse. Mini horse heads decorate the wall of Fendi window display at Plaza Indonesia. They are lining up in triangle formation.

Fendi: Striped fan

Stripe and other geometric patterns are some of the Spring/Summer 2013 key trends. Besides the full of stripes Lanvin window display, Fendi is also using stripe as main inspiration. This Italian brand develops the stripe motif into a folded-hand-fan-like installation for the window display. Black and white colors of this giant fan blend in nicely with the bright yellow of the background.

Fendi: Golden room

Before I went to Kuala Lumpur, I had already posted about the latest Fendi gold window display I found at Plaza Indonesia, Jakarta. The one in Kuala Lumpur, that is at Suria KLCC, has the same liquid gold process but now it is accompanied by two golden boxes. Those boxes are made of the Fendi gold double F buckles or medallions with red color inside.

Fendi: Liquid gold

Fashion and technology is now having a close intimate relationship. Fashion house like Fendi, for example, uses the latest technology to process the leather or fur into a creation that ordinary people won't think of. This technology aspect is excellently presented on the latest display of this Italian brand. Gold melting process might be the main theme of this display. There is two red display table with legs made of thousands of metallic gold buckles, coins, medallions, or other stuffs. They are 'melting' and form the golden color for the ground and the walls surrounding the window space. Pay attention closely to the stuffs that are melted and you can find this brand's iconic double F logo that becomes the buckle closure for Fendi Baguette bag or other metallic round logo that can be found on the belt.
