Fendi: Monster attack

Fendi is now busy promoting its new popular pop-themed commodity, the monster looking bags and other accessories with furs decoration. It is a brave movement from a luxury fur and fashion brand to grab the attention of the younger consumers. The monster is now attacking the window display, too, hanging around near the mannequin more like a monkey. Hopefully, the Fendi VM team will arrange the display in the more sophisticated way next time.

Thomas Pink: Pink Christmas

Red is always identical with Christmas celebration but it does not exist in the Thomas Pink universe where pink, as it is written on the brand's name, is the single ruler. Thus, the Christmas window display of this English brand is filled with the pink color, now in metallic. The theme is a, perhaps, jazz band with mannequins playing trumpets and also a set of drum in the center. There are also two metallic pink dogs posing on the window to cheer up the atmosphere.

Hermes: Steel constructions

I never see any Hermes window display that looks very masculine and tough until I visit this brand boutique at Pacific Place. There are steel constructions standing vertically or horizontally that look like building constructions. No cute or colorful objects to accompany those properties except the colorful collections of Hermes ties or scarves. One of the big size scarf is the Carre Cube that might become the inspiration behind this window display concept.

Dolce & Gabbana: Wheels

Dolce & Gabbana Fall/Winter 2013 window display is about the giant wheels wrapped in colorful motifs, perhaps derived from Sicilian culture. Not a nice window setting for me but thank God there are some magnificent accessories exposed here. Just look at this feminine hand bag with a very amazing detail of Sicilian mosaic image of a saint or the dandy shoes with cross needle detail in the floral motif.

Louis Vuitton: Holiday gifts

Louis Vuitton ION Orchard, Singapore, starts the Christmas holiday season so early with its cute and cheerful window display. Do not expect those traditional Christmas-related-animals like reindeer or bear. This most well-known fashion brands use ducks - yes ugly looking duck, not swan - as the messengers of Christmas gifts.
