It becomes the home for the big flagship stores of luxury fashion brands like Hermes, Chanel, or Louis Vuitton and event the fast fashion chain like H&M or Zara. Among the high skyscrapers building of office and economic centers, hotels, and residential, emerge the glamorous boutiques and stores with sparkling facades that will attract passer-by from day until night times and from the city center until the airport point.

Dior: Under the big giant roses

Since his first tenure at Dior fashion house back in 2012, Raf Simons is always using the flowers for inspiration whether it is the details on the dresses or accessories and jewelries or the show venue. The other usage of flower is now can be seen on the latest Dior window display with big big roses hanging on the ceiling. Looks nice but, for me, it looks less amazing than the previous arrangements.

Dior: Flower forest

 Plaza Senayan

 Plaza Indonesia

After blanketing the wall of an old house in Paris for his first haute couture for Dior, Raf Simons played again with flowers for the S/S 2014 show last September 2013. The guests were seated under rows of hanging flowers. This decor is now being recreated for the Spring 2014 window of this French fashion house. Look at these photos from Dior boutiques at Plaza Indonesia and Plaza Senayan and you can say that they are very beautiful, a show stopper among the other boring windows in the two shopping malls.

Dior: New boutique

Last week, Dior finally unveiled its second boutique in Jakarta that is located at Plaza Indonesia. It has wide space than the first one at Plaza Senayan. The exterior and interior concepts also follow what the flagship boutiques have. Talking about the window display, Cruise 2013/14 theme is on going right now. Mannequins are standing, sitting, or lounging on a colorful properties. Each of them are wearing lace covered helmets and wearing sunglasses, little bit odd for this elegance couture house.

Dior: The windows of a maison

Dior Christmas display is one of the most beautiful window display I ever seen this recent years. It shows a French style maison with its beautiful windows and terraces. Each windows show either the silhouette of what is happening inside or the beautiful collection of Dior handbags and jewelries. The gradient colors of red and violet add the beautiful nuance of this window.
