Dolce & Gabbana - February 2016: Traveling to the moon

Nearby the Dolce & Gabbana accesories store at Via Della Spiga is the specialty store for women and children ready to wear at Corso Venezia. Although it is not a big size boutique, the window display looked very nice with surprising concept of mother and children traveling to the moon, or perhaps another planet. All the display props were created and produced in amazing detail and they made some passer-by stopped just to view and to take some photos.

Dolce & Gabbana - February 2016: Market stalls

Dolce & Gabbana is one of the big Italian brands that has already been opening many stores in some countries. In Italy, especially in Milan to focus, the brand has some stores including specialty stores for fragrance & make up and accessories. This post will show you one Dolce & Gabbana accessories store in the beginning of Via Della Spiga. I was in awe to see this display last February. The window displays had a market concept where stalls of fresh fruit, flowers, fishes, sweets, and also souvenir stood side by side. Each of the stalls were full with its more carefully selected detail props and of course the Dolce & Gabbana accessories themselves that had been selected to match the stall theme.

Dolce & Gabbana: Wheels

Dolce & Gabbana Fall/Winter 2013 window display is about the giant wheels wrapped in colorful motifs, perhaps derived from Sicilian culture. Not a nice window setting for me but thank God there are some magnificent accessories exposed here. Just look at this feminine hand bag with a very amazing detail of Sicilian mosaic image of a saint or the dandy shoes with cross needle detail in the floral motif.

Dolce & Gabbana: Food stall

(Stefano) Dolce and (Domenico) Gabbana are two Italian designers who are very loyal to their countries and especially hometown of Sicily. A lot of Italian and Sicilian cultural heritages are used in their collections season per season and now this inspiration is also used at the window display. There is a festive food stall that might become a part of Italian night market in the entrance of Dolce & Gabbana boutique at Grand Indonesia, Jakarta. This stall is completed with boxes that store roasted almonds, candies in silver and gold paper wrap, and also Dolce  & Gabbana perfume boxes that might look like cake boxes. Around the stall, jackets, handbags, and shoes from the latest collection are hung to live up this stall.
