La Martina: Polo team

When I travel to Kuala Lumpur earlier this month, I found a new favorite brand for polo shirts called La Martina at Pavilion mall. It is an Argentinean brand that focuses its business on polo sport outfits and also other fashion products. It supports Argentina national polo team as well as some international polo teams and tournaments such as English national team. The window display of this brand is decorated with a very nice and detail depiction of a polo sport team. The athletes are posing and lounging in their home base wearing complete polo outfit and its equipment. Excellent!

Tonight will be the Christmas Eve and perhaps you, visitors, are in the middle of a Christmas party or celebration lunch or dinner. If you are not then perhaps this British India window display might bring the party atmosphere in your mind. This party presented here is Christmas party that is held in India. There is a big pictures of elephant with crystals and beads, trees with sparkling lamps instead of traditional Western Christmas tree, and the guests that are wearing festive outfits. Once again, hope this post can bring happiness and joy as what Christmas day means. Merry Christmas everyone :)

Ted Baker: Naughty snowman

The image of snowman is always cute, fun, and adorable especially in the infamous Christmas song 'Frosty the Snowman'. However, Ted Baker put a very naughty snowman in its window display this Christmas season. This snowman has the widest smile compared to other nice-smile-fellows. His cheeks look red and his eyes are so witty. If normal snowman wears a checked shawl, he is wearing a red tanga and (trying) to pose in it sexily. This snowman might be the most fun and fearless ever !

G2000: Wrong location

 Pavilion

Mid Valley Mega Mall

G2000 makes a surprising set of window display this Christmas season. It is a beautiful depiction of polar environment with snowy mountains, snowy grounds, and some little penguins. However, to find mannequins wearing working suits, the main commodity of this brand, is totally a shocking situation.

Sembonia: Snow mountain

Sembonia, a local Malaysian leather accessories brands, has a very interesting window display for this Christmas season. Snow mountain is perhaps its main idea with a giant photograph of it as the background. The center of attention is a ice cave with a bag inside. This vividly build display also has the frozen effect on some corners and also 'micro' particles of ice everywhere. Sadly, there are star stickers on the front glass window that make the total looks less dramatic.

White Christmas in Kuala Lumpur

 Mont Blanc

 Calvin Klein Jeans

 Aigner

Snow is always identical with Christmas since this festive holuday arrives in the peak of winter season at four-seasoned countries. Thus, what if you live in tropical country like me in Jakarta or Kuala Lumpur? Faux snows made of cottons or styrofoam is the best answers. These snows are applied in every Christmas decorations including the window display. Here are the example of the man made white Christmas window display from some brands.

Christmas Trees

 Lanvin, Plaza Indonesia

 AT-20, Pavilion

 BCBG MaxAzria, Pavilion

Christmas day is coming in the counting of days. If your house is not yet decorated with a Christmas tree or two, you can pay attention to these trees installed at some fashion boutiques both in Jakarta or in Kuala Lumpur. Lanvin's Christmas tree might be very traditional but it is presented playfully with a mannequin stuck inside it. AT-20, the sister brand of G2000, make the tree from wooden blocks. In BCBG MaxAzria, white Christmas tree is still in the process of being decorated.

Coach: Simple Christmas

Coach boutique at Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur, might be the biggest in South East Asia. Located at the main entrance of this famous shopping mall in Bukit Bintang, it has two floors with striking C logo making a formation in the 'roof' part. These mega size and riots of logo and images are balanced with the simplicity on the window display even in this Christmas time. There are only gift boxes in striking red colors that come in various sizes. Besides them, greenery in the triangle shape of Christmas tree stand beautifully. The mannequins on the front window is wearing a winter style outfit that is still acceptable in the tropical warm weather of Malaysia.

Versace: Diamond cage

Versace might be famous with its Baroque inspired and elaborate prints and motifs. However, it turns drastically simple and clean in the field of window display. The example is this Italian brand's boutique at Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur. In front of the mega size advertising image, there are cage in the shape of diamond stand effectively as table for the accessories collection. The tall size of this cage become the place where mannequin wearing Versace riot-logo dress pose dramatically to the onlookers. Nice!
