Jelly Dreams: Magical creatures

Siam Discovery

 Gaysorn

Jelly Dreams is a local Thailand concept store that is selling Melissa Shoes exclusively in this popular tourist region. Owned by Jaspal, also a local fashion retailer, it has two stores that are at Siam Discovery and Gaysorn. The window displays of Jelly Dreams look very interesting with the concept of magical creatures. A white pink-horned horse with matching-pink tail are walking through flowers bed at Siam Discovery store. The furry tail of the horse might be so long or might be comes out since it also exists in the previous window. Gaysorn store has a golden eagle rests on a golden ground. Each color of those animals is matching with the interior colors of the stores, making the two stores look so brilliant and stand out among other international brands boutique around. Two thumbs up!

Roger Dubuis: Swords

Roger Dubuis is now very active promoting the Excalibur watch series. This ultra modern yet classic luxury watch has the medieval knight concept in the advertisement image. The concept is now applied to the window display of Roger Dubuis boutique at Gaysorn, Bangkok. There are two transparent swords buried not in the stone, as the King Arthur's Excalibur, but in a light up plastic sprial-like elements. The swords are caged inside cubical spaces that are surrounded with the image of metal armor.

Loewe: Royal horse

 Siam Paragon

 Gaysorn

There is a wooden block put on the Loewe window display at Siam Paragon, Bangkok. On this block, there are some huge oxidized looking metal pin with very beautiful engraving of crown image inside. Loewe handbags and scarf are hung on those pins along with objects that may look like tools or equipments for a royal horse. The most interesting objects for me is the 'pom - pom' that come in different colors in each boutique, the other boutique is at Gaysorn.

Ermenegildo Zegna: Custom made

Ermenegildo Zegna custom made service is called Su Misura. This exclusive service is available at selected boutiques of this legendary Italian menswear brand. Zegna Gaysorn is one of the boutique that have this facility and it is published via window display. There is a big trunk opens up and show its content: rolls of fabrics, assorted choices of collars and cuffs, and of course sewing tools like threads, measure tape, and a scissor. Next to it, a torso mannequin is wearing a shawl made of a Zegna fabric. Unfortunately this very nice display is placed in, in my opinion, a wrong corner. It supposed to be become the center of the display or next to the main entrance.

Louis Vuitton: Facade

 Gaysorn

 Siam Paragon

Every major city in the world must have some Louis Vuitton boutiques inside. Bangkok, for example, has three that are at Emporium, Gaysorn, and Siam Paragon. Their window displays is exactly in uniform since the concept must follow the exact rule from the headquarter. However, each boutique has its specialty in the design of the facade or outsider wall. Louis Vuitton Siam Paragon has the beautiful flower motif taken from Louis Vuitton classic monogram logo but appear in a very abstract way if you look the light up wall from a far. Damier motif that is explored deeply for women collection looks so vibrant at Louis Vuitton Gaysorn's outdoor facade. Unfortunately, I forgot to take the photo of Louis Vuitton at Emporium.

Bangkok's luxury shopping malls

  Siam Paragon

 Siam Center

 Central World

 Gaysorn

 Erawan

I had a full week vacation to Bangkok last week. This tourist packed city might be popular with its amazing and opulence Grand Palace and other grandeur temples around it but it also has mega malls with luxury boutiques and fashionable stores inside. At the infamous shopping belt of Bangkok or can be called Siam area, there are Siam Discovery and Siam Paragon that surround a newly renovated Siam Center, the pioneer of trendy fashion mall in this City of Angels. Few blocks from Siam, the biggest mall in Thailand that is Central World offers, and also overdoses, you varieties of fashion stores and dining experiences. Across the street, the magnificent Erawan Shrine with its famous Four Buddha Faces statue is standing infront of a little luxury empire, Erawan that is a part of Grand Hyatt Bangkok. Finally, Emporium at Sukhumvit might be old and small but it has the biggest Hermes boutique in Thailand and the quiet Gaysorn is still be able to attract even a group of Chinese tourists to shop like it is the end of the world.
