It was my second time to see a stand alone Comme des Garcons boutique. The first time was at Singapore's Hilton Shopping Gallery last year. The one in Bangkok is a heaven and earth compared to Singapore one. The boutique is just like any other shop with glasses as the outer wall. The only difference is there is no special objects or properties put on the window display space which is very spacious. There are only some clothing collections and even two pairs of sneakers on the ground. The only "decoration" is the plastic or glass screens that are used as to display the collection inside.

Louis Vuitton: Facade
Gaysorn
Siam Paragon
Every major city in the world must have some Louis Vuitton boutiques inside. Bangkok, for example, has three that are at Emporium, Gaysorn, and Siam Paragon. Their window displays is exactly in uniform since the concept must follow the exact rule from the headquarter. However, each boutique has its specialty in the design of the facade or outsider wall. Louis Vuitton Siam Paragon has the beautiful flower motif taken from Louis Vuitton classic monogram logo but appear in a very abstract way if you look the light up wall from a far. Damier motif that is explored deeply for women collection looks so vibrant at Louis Vuitton Gaysorn's outdoor facade. Unfortunately, I forgot to take the photo of Louis Vuitton at Emporium.

Alexander McQueen: Floral and insects
Alexander McQueen boutique in Asia is so rare especially if we are talking about South East Asia area. The only free-standing boutique of this London based brand is located at Erawan, Bangkok. It is a little bit surprising about the country location since most of the niche brands have their boutiques in Singapore. However, let's talk about the window display aspect only. Clean and minimalist might be the most obvious thing we see since there are only mannequins wearing the beautiful and magnificent dresses. However, try to look closer and further and you can the art-deco plus floral motif exactly similar with those you can find at some of Alexander McQueen Resort 2013 collections. The floral motif comes more alive with dragonfly prints at a blouse put in one mannequin. Magnificent !
Lanvin: Strips stripes
Erawan, Bangkok
Plaza Indonesia, Jakarta
Lanvin window display for Spring/Summer 2013 appears to be uniform for each boutique of this French brand in the world. I had already seen this full-stripes concept display at Bangkok last week, at Plaza Indonesia, Jakarta on Sunday when I have been in Jakarta, and also at a Paris boutique via a blogger. This display looks so bright and very eye-catching for mall visitors since the motif and the color appear so bold. The nice arrangement can be found at Lanvin Erawan Bangkok where mannequins and some accessories come in the same stripes motif.

Hermes: Galaxy, part 2
Although there are only three Hermes boutiques in Thailand, the size of each boutiques, for those which is located in shopping malls, is enormous. Just like Hermes at Emporium, the second boutique at Siam Paragon is also located near the main entrance of the mall. The window display has the same concept that is about a galaxy where there are planets and their orbits. One of the most interesting object in this display is the very detail depiction of planet's surface, not sure it is Mars or the moon.
Hermes: Galaxy
It becomes my official tradition to post Hermes first before the other boutiques' window displays photos I took on my traveling time. There are three Hermes boutiques in Thailand that are at Siam Paragon, Emporium, and Suvarnabhumi International Airport. I only visited the two boutiques located at luxury shopping mall I mentioned above. Just like in Jakarta, the two boutiques have completely same window display design. Galaxy is the main theme where every space of the window display is decorated with vivid and detail planets objects. So far, it is the most complicated display of Hermes I ever see with my own eyes. Each planets are completed with their orbit circles and their surroundings. The photos in this post were taken at the biggest Hermes boutique that is at Emporium. I apologize for the quality since I took them in the afternoon.
